Lets call it the "gross" battle strength, not the numerous "net" strength ;-)
Good morning, chiming in on a Role Definition:
Security is the #1 Battle Strength aka best forms role
Infiltrators are a High Attendance in LaW with decent to best forms
Pilots (Aces) need numerous ships, IMO the need to always have Awakened or Emax+ Pilots, decent to great attendance, and the right parts. I think Aces are a lynchpin or 'very active' legions but nigh-useless in legions that get under 8 players per game.
Engineer is just an EP sink, great for n00bs and people grinding Quest
I honestly wanted to be an Ace or Infiltrator but I have the 3rd best Form in my Legion so I was asked to be Security. We are a friendly but ever churning Legion with a constant "new member" issue. I love our Legionmates, but it is always a "Work In Progress" feeling.
I'm not quite sure what the purpose of this post is. Is it asking for advice on how roles should be assigned? Or just saying how your legion assigns roles?
Either way most of what you listed is accurate, engineer is definitely best left to a weaker player, or someone who attends almost all battles and has a nice ep pool.
Pilot Ace should definitely be what you listed, they should have all blueprints maxed, plenty of parts, and the willingness to switch around their hangar in order to maintain event ships. Not nearly as important on lower attendance ships.
Infiltrator should definitely be stronger forms
Security should probably be your strongest. Battle strength has nothing to do with it. Some very strong forms have relatively low battle strength, whereas some terrible forms have super high battle strength.
I was refering to @Sita from about 2 posts earlier on the prior page.
And I agree about the numbers being misleading. A TimeOut form is best on Security while other more disruptive or narrow forms can do just fine as Infiltrator.*I misspoke and used Battle Strength versus Form Strength. I should've said 'Win Ratio'
In the end LaW attendance plays a large part in role necessity
Thought I'd stop by to say hello!
Don't you mean "Goodbye"?
Does anyone know if this is the last or 2nd to last LaW??
Haha! I guess I was an omen of death. The news game after my message.
Honestly, I'm not sure.
