Well this is going to be debated for centuries to come, and it's easy to say someone else is wrong , but there is no arguing with peoples own opinions about there personal preferences.
For me it goes...(not doing the two cartoons...1 because I haven't seen them, and 2 because they are cartoons )
#1 = Rogue One (by a mile the best thing ever to be done with Star Wars)
#2,3,4 = Original Trilogies
#5 = Force Awakens
#6,7 = The Prequels
#8 = Something I can't quite recall, something to do with midichlorians
Lol I think its called the Phantom Menace or something like that.
Agreed here. The way it meshed with everything else was incredible. Funny they emphasize its stand-alone quality when you could literally watch Rogue One and A New Hope back to back as one very long movie. The characters were also great and it wasn't just a remix of one the previous movies. Also the score was a amazing. This video really makes me appreciate it even more, although I liked it before this. (I'll listen to medleys of it non stop while doing work)
I guess one could argue that rogue one wouldn't have been any good without the awesome additional star wars films, but I think even on its own it was a great movie. The star wars universe just made it better. Could've used more artoo though
The endless debate!
Great video @Revan The Legend.
I largely agree, although I've not watched any of the Rebels series so I can't place that.
1 - Empire
2 - Rogue One
3 - New Hope
4 - TFA
5 - Revenge of the Sith
6 - Return of the Jedi
7 - Attack of the Clones
8 - Phantom Menace
Lotta Rogue love!!
Rogue One was epic, for me it had 2 flaws, firstly no opening paragraphs, which was just wrong.
Secondly it could have used some more lightsabers, although the story itself didn't need them it would have made the film even more badass
Lightsabers make everything better.
Fixed rogue one!
For me it's easy to explain the first gripe, the Star Wars saga (the main films) follows the skywalker family and the moments that they are directly involved in; also I am one of the many people who believe the Star Wars films are told/narrated by R2/D2 and 3po, hence the data information at the start of the main films (the scrolled text).
Seeing as the droids aren't telling us the story of Rogue One there isn't going to be any text.
That's my take on it anyway, will always be those who disagree though, and I can understand why.
