You can go all HC you want. I'll go with my current squad. I'll die after 3 turns due to bad RNG, but within that 3 turns, I will score much more than you can already do in 5+ turns. If RNG is good and I go past 3 turns, I'll definitely get 3*.

This is my experiencing running Alkemu. It's good to be survival fit for the mission, but Alkemu just hits too hard for you to be wasting slot for that. Bringing Kanon and mitigator and Owen lead should be more than enough imo. Bringing Griel is like...why bother. He'll nuke the crap out of sooner or later anyway, I rather go full attack and grab 3* before other people.

People have preferences so I let them run whatever they want, but I'll be taking the stars home, tyvm.

P.S. No, I don't die after 3 turns every Alkemu runs. On most runs, I can last over 10 turns, hence 3* is always guarantee for me. More stars = higher rates.

    I'm running
    Raga lead
    Owen friend

    Keido
    Kanon
    Edea
Free slot - can be Griel, Ruby (maximum spark), Kurt, or Lava.

I tried running Kira on the last slot but his light element means trolling the other players by killing the core too early.

The only difference I think we'll have is you'll be running Shera instead of Edea. I don't think we'd be that far off in scoring, especially since I spam items in Raid. Lel. Also, idk if you're running a crit buff. I generally avoid that as it can be very inconsistent and get the core killed earlier. Thus explains my setup.

Right now I am running Ruby as I can always BB Raga for BC and HC drop and Ruby's SBB means spark bonanza.

A quick note on HC drop should do it.

Inb4 Will 7* becomes 150% Def and HC buffer. Bye Griel. Bye Kanon.

Eh eventually older units will all get 7* so if you're having a hard time now, it won't last long.

I'm with you but it's not just preference because gomi.

If something as easy as flicking a switch (ie honor summon rate up) and it took them forever to implement, I don't have high hope that they'll do the right thing when it takes them more effort than to breathe. Gimu is like a fat couch potato. Getting up and going to the control panel to flick the switch is just too much effort. Sometimes I think the light bulb jokes I make are not really jokes.

Unless he's playing gl. It'll take forever for older units to get 7* because of gimu. So far we have seen none bar the 3 "gifts" we got for them to get 7* rolling out of the rs gate (more like bribe to keep the hacks quiet).

IIRC from looking through the data, rare drops can range from 1%-20% in drop chances (up till RC4 in Global at least). Having finals now so don't have the time to extract the exact values and items that drop from the different boss parts.

Feel free to take your time, but yeah it would be really helpful to know proper about bosses % drop and which part that drops it :)

I can't quite decide on a "standard" raid team. I have a lot of 7*'s to choose from. (Global Player FYI)

Fire: Lava, Claire, Ultor, Alpha, Magnazorda
Water: Selena, Medina, Tridon, Elimo, Tazer, Colt
    Earth: Edea, Tora, Quiad
Thunder: Loch, Balgran, Deimos, Greil, Kanon, Diane
Light: Raaga, Sefia, Kira, Fadahl, Rinon
Dark: Kikuri, Feeva, Zenia, Ivris, Aaron

What would be a solid team? I'm just pushing through the middle of RC3 at the moment, but hope to get into RC4 this week.

So would a Kira, Tazer, Will, Elimo Shida and Bestie Friend do well?
I don't have Quaid :x or Owen but I have Kanon and Dion.
And how about Zeldeus? I don't think Ultor might be a good choice here?

Currently running a 4 7 star team with Ultor(Lead), Elimo Shida Will Kira and Bestie friend
I think the main constraint is spark boost? I don't really know who to sub or smtg so any suggestions?

Get in any quest and leech. There is still chance to get the rare drops.

If you see some vets such as @Talukita @SoNIc Teh_0 Morgan in a room, feel free to leech, guess they would welcome leechers if they have a slot open.
BUT ABOVE ALL, you shall Not kill the main part of the boss before other parts got destroyed, that may ruin their farming.

    Welcome to Grand Gaia.

A very important thing needed to be known is each boss has different attribution, skill set and parts of rare drops.
We make squad according to what we wanna do.
Firstly, survival is the most vital thing.
Then destroy every part of the boss (at least, the parts where rare mats drop from)
Thirdly, try to deal as much damage as you can.

Take Balmedia and Nalda Delia for example.
Balmedia's tail drops blaze pearl, the key mat for the 35% sphere.
The tail is immune to crit buff and has a huge HP pool.
We can't take crit LF and buffers, that always kill Bal before the tail. Then farming failed.
Due to the huge HP pool, we even need a unit with single target SBB focusing on the tail to ensure we could kill it.
Nalda Delia's lower body drops doom ring, another key mat for the 35% sphere.
Lucky, it isn't immune to crit.
I always took dual kira LF(considering the element of its arms)
In fact, my squad varies from mission to mission.

So there's no standard squad for raid. Only standard factors.
For RC4, mitigators are a must.
For RC5, mitigators and HP buff are must in most cases.

Squading might be the most complicated parts of this game.
Study on other players' squads may help.
In M8-10 RC5, each unit in the squad should have their role. Try to find it and then you can make your own squad for each mission.

    AlexA, I get what you mean after trying to farm Centurions for Void Chunks to make my GE spheres. I cry whenever I see people going in with Grah subs/leads and they just focus target the main body. So as each boss is either crit/spark resist and depending on the type of the part which you want to farm the item. So there is no "generic" team, except units that are good to have..... ;.;

Nice to hear that, I'd be more pleased if you like my previous post.
If not wrong, the main body drops void chunk, arms drop cataract ores.
Don't worry, void chunk is not that rare. When farming cataract ores there, void chunk drop rate is greater than 95% for me.
