While there are a lot of nice people on this site that host legit free giveaways, there has been a recent series of posts from a person or persons claiming to work for Konami. They are claiming they will give away free 5* cards if you answer a "survey." The questions they will ask you are THE SAME QUESTIONS KONAMI WOULD ASK YOU WHEN YOU TRY TO RECOVER A LOST PASSWORD.

There are no Konami employees using this site, anyone claiming to be is a liar. Konami strictly prohibits their employees from communicating with customers via third party sites (AppInvasion.) NEVER give anyone the following information unless it is in a conversation YOU INITIATED via a legit Konami e-mail.

    NEVER TELL:
    • Your account Level.
    • Your Callsign. (In game name)
    • Your 9-digit ID.
    • Your password. (DUH!)
    • Your account side. (Dark/Light)
    • Your Force Rank. (Jedi Master/Sith/etc.)
    • When you started playing.
    • When you last accessed your account.
    • Your last trade, when it was, and who it was with.
    • Names of your allies.
    • Your leader card.
    • When was your last battle.
    • When was your last draw.
    • What the last event you participated in was.
    • What you ranked in any events.
    • Your Legion name.
    • Names of members in your Legion.
    • Cards on your account.
    • How many credits you have.
    • How many crystals you have purchased.
    • How many crystals you currently have.
    • Anything else that someone would need access to your account to know.

Some of these can be figured out with some snooping in game but the more of these a person gets out of you the more likely they will be able to STEAL YOUR ACCOUNT by tricking Konami into thinking it is their account and they forgot the password.

    Via Wikipedia:
Phishing is the illegal attempt to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details (and sometimes, indirectly, money), often for malicious reasons, by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.

This is an important piece of information. Can it be out in an even more clear way than a sticky in the General section?

Not really lol. I could put it in other forums as well but don't think there is much else I can do. Maybe @NeoCHI could put a special tag or prefix on this post or something?

I already spoke with Loki when this first came out. This is legit. It's coming back very soon. But of course, motti, you can always opt out.

So, by the way, you realize that like half this information that you tell people to NEVER tell is plastered all over this forum, right? Better delete all of the following:

Sticky in the trade section with game id

All Jedi or sith master posts with screenshots of account status.

    Legion threads.

    All account milestone threads.

Probably more that I'm not thinking of.

There's a reason I don't shred every piece of mail I get. A lot of info is just public information. Same holds here.

Be smart with your account information. If somebody starts asking too many questions or starts asking for the more obscure info then that's a red flag. But don't be deluded into thinking that a lot of this is unattainable without even asking.

I was just in a trade with someone but they were out of trade tickets and asked for my player id so their alt could add me. I sent it without thinking cause it seems to be a way of searching for players in the menu.

That's all I told him but in your list it says not to give away level, light/dark side, legion names, callsign, etc. But you can see all of that just by searching someone. So am I at risk for theft now that he has that 9 digit number? I just found this site after he stopped responding after I sent it and got suspicious.

I have a password on the account but I'm really nervous now :/

Thanks for the quick reply. As long as Konami isn't inept with their customer service I'm good then.
