Just re-sharing and improving some old knowledge of almost one and a half year ago, if you have Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 with official Brave Frontier app installed

    Code:
    C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Local\Packages\gumi.BraveFrontier_tdae4wqex79w6\LocalState
    (Win 8.1)

is where the directory of every update to the game is downloaded.

    Gacha PNG files

Among the files are Rare Summon (a.k.a. gacha) images, stored as files with PNG extension.

If you sort those files by "Date Modified" you'll see encrypted PNG files with "gacha" on its filename. This PNG files' original content can be easily known just by copy and pasting the whole filename and appending it into the URL of gumi's CDN where the game downloads its update.

    Code:
    http://dlc.bfglobal.gumi.sg/content/gacha/
For example, applying the process into the gacha PNG file "gacha_rare_bg_img_20160307.png" results in this

This will be useful when a new Rare Summon event is expected to come.

    DAT files

This DAT are encrypted, and unfortunately there's no way to decrypt without reverse-engineering the game's libraries because you need the key. Don't bother ask those who already decrypt it, it's not worth sharing.

    • Ver*_2r9cNSdt contains basic unit information.

    • Ver*_zLIvD5o2 and Ver*_wkCyV73D contains skills data.

    • Ver*_4dE8UKcw contains leader skill data.

    • Ver*_XkBhe70R contains Arena AI data.

    • Ver*_hdt2N6mr contains Rare Summon description.
normally Nazta or Deathmax will provide the information moments after an update have been downloaded. You can also check deathmax's repository for any commits made by the repo's bot, in case you noticed one of the "Ver" files mentioned above are recently updated when you sorted the content of localstate folder by Date Modified.

    Dungeon background JPG files

JPG files which name is patterned dungeon_battle_xxxxx.jpg is the encrypted dungeon background. This file is used as the static background when you turned off battle background animation in the game.

To check its original unencrypted content simply append it to /content/dungeon/ directory of the CDN.

    Code:
    http://dlc.bfglobal.gumi.sg/content/dungeon/

    Character portrait

This is stored as PNG files with navi_chara_xxx.png filename pattern to it.

To check its original unencrypted content simply append it to /content/event/ directory of the CDN.

    Code:
    http://dlc.bfglobal.gumi.sg/content/event/

    Area image

This is stored as JPG files with area_xxxx.jpg filename pattern to it. Plate is stored in PNG file with pattern area_plate_xxx.png

Simply append both to /content/area/ directory of the CDN.

    Code:
    http://dlc.bfglobal.gumi.sg/content/area/

    Touch Screen image

This is stored as JPG files with title_logoXXXXXX.jpg filename pattern to it.

Simply append it to /content/wallpaper/ directory of the CDN.

    Code:
    http://dlc.bfglobal.gumi.sg/content/wallpaper/

The main reason any sane person wouldn't share the decryption keys is that it is ridiculously easy to modify the files in order to cheat. Not to mention you would have to spend even more effort decoding the JSON after decryption. Just check my repo where I've done all the hardwork.

Gumi seems to have put me out of a job with their monthly updates.

Oh I just realized I might be unintentionally attacking you personally using bad choice of words, @Deathmax. I'm sorry.
