Base Design & Inspiration!

    image.jpg As for the base, get rid of rapid turrets, they suck, limit the movement by putting collectors in the corner.
    I no pro like sinbag but this is My layout and its worked fine for me.

    I use air strikes all the time, a part of My battle plan, nothing wrong with that but to diss someone like that on a forum for everybody and just brag does not suit well with me.

    Not dissing someone in a forum... like calling someone a shit bag... way to rise above.

    Anywho. I'm not trying to start a fight in a forum over a game. Just looking out for a squad mate.

    Lastly, I have no problem using airstrikes if they are needed. They just haven't been needed for me. Each one costs more than Chewie, so I try to challenge myself to see how few troops I think it will take to 100% a base. Some are just harder than others, and some I skip all together if I think that the risk is too high (not to often), or the payout is not significant enough (all to common - come on imps get some cash!).

    As per your base Dalle, looks pretty good (especially if you have some good troops in the squad center). One or two more morters and it would at least give me pause before dropping some troops (and probably some x-wings for the morters)!

    As for you dropping by you are more then welcome, I love winning in def but losing is also apreciate as i see my weakness. :)

    I 3 star enemies that I am given by the system. I only need to use air strikes on Imperials of my level with tons of mortars. Imp's of lower level will get wasted without air strikes thank you very much...why so hostel bro!?

    No idea. I do them just to burn up credits sometimes. The basic TIE is pretty good at level 5, takes out 2 turrets occasionally.

    I can never see mine, but when attacked I see the x-wings swoop down on replay.

    The cost and training time is so high, I don't feel they are unfair, but I don't really care about defense since it is run by the game entirely.

    As long as your getting the coin back in the attack...it's all good. It's when your not that it sucks just to save your medal loss.

    Got this design scouting potential squads. Attacked 2x won 25 medals each. Adjusted to eliminate gaps inside the wall.The original design had the front corner open, but I took dajabec's suggestion and put lower level sections there instead. Screenshot_2014-10-19-15-10-42.png

    Here's mine, it's a similar layout. I win most of my defensive battles, when I don't, I can at least limit the damage to only one star.

    image.jpg Here is My new one, had to spread turrets out because of air strikes, it isnt tested much but seem to do ok, Will be much better when all rocket turrets are done.

    Yeah you almost have to spread the turrets out when you get to the top tier of level 6 or level 7. They they are grouped together ties and xwings can take out 2-3 at a time with ease.
